Fall on earth
A meditation on losing the ego, this work reflects a process of multi-layered interactions between self, paint and orchestration of natural ephemera on canvas. Guided by the serendipity of things where they fall, each painting records a spontaneous, one-time process of carefully layering colors upon each other in search of radiant interactions.

Art is invariably a collaboration. How things come together, fall apart, the personal narratives we hold, are all a part of the experience. Based on my personal history with Queens Nails Projects, I felt the need to explore how physical space activates social interactions. Using weekly creative themes to engage visitors, my residency was a summer encampment of multimedia art collaboration and experimentation. I opened the gallery to old friends and new acquaintances with promises of “future nostalgia” that will be remain permanent by this website: https://fantasycamp.tumblr.com/.
